The circle of fifths is a visual “cheatsheet” for understanding relationships between musical pitches starting with the C note.
Depending on where you start on the cycle, you can create harmonious groups of sounds like chords and scales for musical composition. This is a very simplistic way of describing it. I designed this “Flower Power” version using Uke Head NFTs that I purchased from James Hill for his Uke Heads Project. The center of each flower circle is one of the Uke Heads that James created. I added flower petals that are all correctly in alignment with the circle of fifths.
I think the shape of a flower is more fun and works well as a Teach Shirt. Imagine wearing one of these slick shirts to a ukulele workshop or meetup.
The back of the shirt reminds us of what we need to do if we are going to wrap our heads around the Circle of Fifths.
